Description

About

Anne Grady left Boston when Cassidy Reid was murdered.

Appearance

Black Irish, with the characteristic black, wavy hair, which she wears waist-length, with long bangs around the sides of her face, and brown-blue eyes. Very curvy, with large breasts, a small waist, and a nice butt, although her thigh are larger than they chould be (that being where she carries any weight she gains). Anne, therefore, usually wears flattering skirts or wide-legged pants to hide this flaw, and clingy, low-cut shirts to show off her upper half. Her skin is fairly light, but gets a nice tan in summer. Anne enjoys wearing make-up to accent her only slightly-above-average features, and especially tries to make her cheekbones appear nicer, since they're naturally rather...invisible.

Personality

Anne, by now, depends on no one but herself. She's learned the hard way that not even the people who are supposed to take care of you always will. She is the first and foremost person in her world, and will always take care of herself before anyone else. She's fairly vain, and although she doesn't have an unreasonably high opinion of her own looks, she can become narcissistic about her abilities. Anne has a good head for business, as she's able to calculate and figure quickly and emotionlessly; judging what will be best for her without regard for anyone else. She is, in fact, a sociopath, and would have made quite a good assassin if her life had taken that route.

Anne doesn't attempt to mask her lack of feeling for other people much, in fact being rather up-front about how little she cares. This has lead her to always get along better with men than with women, who are usually insulted by Anne's lack of subtlety. She's had a few relationships before, but nothing serious, as she never wanted anything more than sex.

History

Anne's dad walked out when she was young, leaving her mom, with her minimum-wage waitressing job, to pay the bills. The pair were quickly evicted from their apartment for an inability to pay the bills, and had to move to South Boston. Despite the much lower rent, Anne's mother still had a hard time paying bills, due in large part to her alcoholism that developed soon after Anne's father left. Rather than feel sorry for her mother, Anne grew to resent the woman just as much as the man who had left her. In Middle School, Anne started doing small jobs for her neighbors, squirrelling away her money for her own use, rather than give it to her mother.

Always a good student in math and science, in the beginning of high school, Anne started making moonshine and selling it cheap to her classmates. Once she graduated to producing meth and other low-end drugs, the local gang demanded she sell to them, rather than directly to customers. Anne agreed, and this worked for her through the end of High School, since the gang, as an effective middle-man between her and the actual selling of drugs, kept her from any notice by the school administration or teachers. Now graduated, Anne got her own apartment in Roxbury with savings from her drugs and quickly hooked up with the gang.

Cassidy Reid — Former Boss (deceased)

Elegant and sophisticated, the former Leader of the Roxbury Gang was, in appearance at least, anything but what would stereotypically be expected of a woman in her position. Very little was known about Cassidy aside from the fact that she had lived in Roxbury her entire life and began making her way up the ranks of the local gang from a very young age, but she rather enjoyed the mystery surrounding her. In fact, much like she did with her seemingly non-threatening appearance, Cassidy often used the general lack of knowledge about her to her advantage. With striking features, wavy red hair and green eyes, Cassidy was still in good shape at forty-five and it was doubtlessly her cold, steady hand that kept the Roxbury Gang functioning. Having worked her way up to Leader, however, Cassidy felt she no longer has to do the dirty work for herself and gave out most of her orders through her right-hand man, Liam O'Connell. She was mysteriously found dead by the staff of the Boston Kitchen, one of the many restaurants she owned, on the 25th August, 2116, with one bullet wound in her stomach and another in her head.
