Caleb McKinnon
The GhostDescription
Appearance
Caleb has a gaunt complexion, with hooded, dull grey eyes. He has a constant look of being defeated by some inner demon. Standing at 6'3", he is the epitome of the word 'lanky'. He has shoulder-length, thinning and greasy hair. Like his eyes, his hair seems devoid of colour. His nose is squashed due to many bar fights, street fights and other brawls. He has a small scar across his left cheek, close to his ear.
Personality
Those who know Caleb joke that he doesn't have a personality. Those who really know him say nothing on the matter. He is very reserved, and although he is often in a brawl, he very rarely makes any noise. He is secretive, though one doubts anyone would want to know his secrets. After joining the Gargoyles, Caleb wasn't given any responsibilities, unlike some of the other new recruits. He can be very intimidating as he never speaks.
History
Caleb is of Irish descent and his parents, Agnes Dawes and Sean McKinnon, were both drug addicts. He grew up in a poorer area of Boston, and by the time he was thirteen he was already on heroin and dealing crack cocaine. He was caught by the police before he had even turned fifteen, and even after they resorted to mild torture, he refused to give them any information. From then on, Caleb was in and out of police stations, occasionally serving a sentence but never more than a couple of months. He was only sixteen when he fell in with the Gargoyles and even after he had to kill his own mother to prove his loyalty and kill his father because he owed them money, Caleb did not once complain. Despite this, he is still a lackey, even though he has shown countless times he is strong enough and resourceful enough to go further. He is an only child, a fact he resents, though the Gargoyles are his siblings now.

Arella McDonald was born in Austin, Texas, and grew up there with her oil tycoon father and accountant mother. She attended university, studying medicine, but went to one too many wild parties and succumbed to the offer of drugs. This led to an addiction to heroin, and she soon dropped out because she was failing classes. She disappeared completely, and moved to Boston. Her parents made a nationwide search for their daughter, but nobody would come forward. Arella works as a prostitute to fund her addiction, though recently she has been forcing herself to go cold turkey.
