Her plans to marry were ended when she accidentally stumbled across Ollie Hawke disposing of the body of a local drug dealer and was murdered, much to the distress of her fiancé, Joey McCoy. She will be very missed by not only her fiancé but by all her colleagues at work.

At the age of three years old, Joseph McCoy witnessed his father kill himself after he had killed their mother. Only thanks to his elder brother's determination was he raised by Daniel and the remnants of the family stayed together. Joey worked hard through school with some encouragement and thanks to finance from Danny was able to attend Medical School. He was in the process of finishing his course, when his nurse fiancée was murdered and he watched as she died in the ER where he had a placement. To say he was beaten up about the event would be putting it lightly. Prone to dark moods over the smallest of incidents, for the moment Joey is very fragile and unstable.
