An architect by trade, on 2nd March, 2115 Georges suffered a stroke while at work in his study and died shortly after in hospital. Having discovered his unconscious body slumped across his architect's table, his wife has struggled to begin come to terms with his death even a year on. Despite the nine year age difference, Georges's and Anya's was a loyal marriage and the two were in each others' pockets since their first meeting when Anya was in her early 20s.

Operating under the cover of a librarian in Saint-Gilles, Anya is Myra Cardona's Field Handler. Recently Anya's husband of almost twenty years suffered a severe and unexpected stroke which left him paralysed and semi conscious for a meagre two hours before he silently passed away. This affected Anya profoundly and left her severely depressed and close to suicide, a state she concealed from the Deveraux Organisation with varying degrees of success.
