Greg Rauben

5'10'', not overly athletic, but certainly not a slacker. Jet black hair, aqua coloured eyes. He is rather on the lean side and has been called lanky on many occasions. Greg is naturally tanned due to his Hispanic heritage.

Although often sarcastic and witty, Greg still knows when he has to be serious. Those who know him have suggested his sarcasm is his defence mechanism and his way of coping with problems. Greg can have a somewhat defensive nature and, possibly due to having to come to terms with his sexual orientation, is very emotional. He also dislikes bullying and because of this has a strong sense of justice. Greg is borderline bipolar, with mood swings that often get him into arguments with others. His surprising strength (not so much surprising as that he is often underestimated) makes him good with heavy weapons of most sorts, and the element of surprise will continue to aid him in the future. He is also a decent shot with an average shock blaster, good at hand to hand combat and with rifle type weapons, but terrible at shooting on the run.

Before it was discovered that Greg was homosexual, he had a relatively normal upbringing with no outstanding events occurring. However, once at school he literally ran into another pupil, fell over and got beaten up. He never was the same afterwards and became almost obsessive in perfecting some aspects of life, such as becoming very paranoid about being viewed by other people in a negative light.

When Greg realised that he was homosexual, his paranoia led him to become adamant about keeping his sexuality a secret from everybody else. However, Greg could never quite live up to his own perfectionist ideals. His secret was revealed when he found love, particularly due to the fact that the boy in question was outwardly gay. He was thrown out of his house once his father discovered his homosexuality and lived in the desert for a few months before joining Spy High.
