Harry Alexander Jennings

Born into a wealthy Northern Canadian family, Harry Jennings is a Deveraux agent in Region White, based out of St. Petersburg, Russia. Suffering from manic depression, Harry is a grounded agent, unable to leave Deveraux's home-city of Boston without permission. Having originally decried his region as one of the worst he could have been stationed in, Harry slowly grew fond of his host-nation, integrating himself into its cultural zeitgeist with the help of his Field Handler.

Peaking at just over six foot tall, and with azure-blue eyes, Harry could easily be summed up with the cliché expression tall, dark and handsome. His dark hair is usually kept closely cropped, a style which first arose out of his desire to rebel against his parents' expectations and desires, though he is slowly growing it out. When in his adopted city of St Petersburg, and the wider Russian Federation, Harry's inclined to shun his typical Western clothing and fit in, donning modern Russian attire.

Harry is your typical easy-going graduate. He gets on with most people at Deveraux and will always strive to go that extra mile to help somebody in need. Whilst he's grown up a lot in his time at Deveraux, Harry had a very rebellious streak in his younger years and struggled at times to stay on the right side of his teachers and Senior Tutor Matthew Andersen.

Much as their rivals, the Rothschilds, the Jennings family are a wealthy banking family, with gold-rich land throughout the Americas in their personal possession. With parents whose views and opinions hark back a good century or two, Harry was brought up to believe that as a Jennings he was a cut above the rest.

An only child, at his father's behest Harry was sent to a boarding school from the age of five. Although his father always assured him it was "where a boy should be," Harry knew even from that young age that his father's affections lay in more prosperous operations. This undoubtedly contributed to his rocky relationship he has had with his parents.

At the age of nine he was expelled from his boarding school for 'Persistent Defiance' after one incident too-far. His father would often cite that he wasn't a trouble maker, but simply an attention seeker. To which his mother would counter the two terms were synonyms for a naughty and unruly child. When the second most reputable Canadian boarding school refused to receive him, Harry instead was forced to spent his next few years abroad in a top English boarding school. His stay lasted for three years before he was once again being expelled, managing to keep his head down only for the first few months. His expulsion from two of the top boarding schools in the Commonwealth caused his pompous parents more than just a little social embarrassment, certain that their son was blazing through prestigious institutes sheerly to undermine them. Just as his parents began to fear for the worst - that they would have to bare the social disgrace of having their son private tutored, they were amazed, and suddenly proud, to receive an invitation for the Deveraux College. Out of the blue, the most elusive of boarding school in all the world, the one not even the Rothschilds had been invited to attend, had offered their son a place without even a mention of his track record!

After graduating from the prestigious Deveraux College, having taken a few subjects whose place in the curriculum his parents would perhaps have questioned, Harry found himself situated in Region White. The culmination of a row over his decision to relocate to Russia - or the Soviet Union as his father insisted on constantly referring to it - Harry found himself disinherited from the Jennings estate, inheriting only from his grandmother Harriet's.

His Deveraux career took a nose-dive when when he caught hypothermia on a mission to halt the sale of arms to an unscrupulous gang of dissidents. A week after being flown back to Deveraux, Harry awoke from his coma. After making a full recovery he was diagnosed by Sian Medina in a routine appointment as suffering manic depression. Suspended from duty due to his disorder, he has stayed at Deveraux since, taking the a semi-formal role of the Senior Tutor's assistant in an effort to fill his time.
