Joshua Ganley

Josh has brown hair with natural streaks of blonde shining through. Josh has brown eyes and pearly white teeth, and is often accused of having a cheeky smile. Josh stands at 5'9'', and due to his obsession with workouts he's built up a muscular frame over the years. He likes to wear jeans and t-shirts, preferring not to be restricted in his movements, and indeed he caused a furore when he turned up at a fellow agent's funeral dressed like this. Josh is very tanned, thanks to the Mediterranean climate he is accustomed to living in. Despite the image he gives off, Josh doesn't like to surf, though he hangs around the beach bars. He likes to wear 'reef' jewellery around his wrists too.

Josh was always a practical joker around Deveraux, never really seeming to take things seriously and usually getting detentions and into trouble. He 'had a thing' with two of the girls in his year at Deveraux, though neither were particularly serious to him. He shirks responsibility, and detested the Sherlock Shield where he had to complete tasks in time frames, by himself. Josh isn't a great listener, too busy eyeing up the nearest piece of skirt he can chase. When it came round to exam time, Josh struggled with mild depression and anxiety due to his lack of studying and hard work. He passed his exams obviously, though as he predicted the grades could have been a lot better. He had to work very hard when he first started as a graduated agent to get himself up to a better standard, and he finally shook off his depression after he successfully completed a mission. Josh is now very keen on giving advice to current students and usually likes to visit Deveraux once per school year.

Josh was born in San Diego to Ross and Amy Ganley. He has two brothers and a sister, all of whom he keeps in touch with. He was raised to be a team player, but his older brother Stuart was always the leader. He was encouraged to play sports, and at the age of ten he was heavily into basketball and football (American). He had turned thirteen just weeks before, when he was picked as part of the squad who would go on a tour of Australia to play basketball. Some of the girls from his school were on the trip, playing hockey, and it was on this trip he lost his virginity. Josh suffered his first bout of depression after the Australia trip, but his parents attributed this to the fact he missed Australia. When he was offered a place at Deveraux, they were keen on him to go as they hoped he would come to miss them and feel closer to them when he returned. Josh was very shy when he first started, but he came into his own during PE and soon made friends. Josh has successfully completed six missions during his time in Region Teal.
