Description

Appearance

At a very broad-shouldered and well-muscled 6'2", with close-cropped black hair against white skin and blue eyes, set off by a very square jaw and a boxer's nose (actually the result of running into a door during a game of tag as a child), Leo looks like he could kill you without trying. Which is true, and for that, all the more intimidating. He dresses practically and casually, usually in jeans and a shirt with a jacket over it, but with an element of cool, adding expensive sunglasses, hats, and flashy watches.

Personality

Leo has, lately, been desperately lonely. All his friends from Deveraux save three have dropped contact with him, and Region Grey had even less contact amongst its agents than other regions. Leo has always been a very extroverted person, so this has been very hard on him. He has a habit of hanging out in clubs and bars in whatever city he's stationed in for the moment and working his way into a circle of partiers. The constant dates, get-togethers and parties don't really take the place of missing his friends, but they're better than nothing.

Leo loves to talk, and his main subjects are reminiscent of the crowd he usually hangs with. Sports, sex, cars, alcohol, and other frat boy subjects typically dominate his conversation. Leo isn't entirely sure anymore whether he actually enjoys talking about most of these subjects, or if he's just used to it. The patience he learned in Deveraux, as the official moderator of Solo Team, has served him well, both just in his general job, and on the rare occasions when he got to work as part of a team.

He has, since becoming a Region Silver field handler, found a group of friends in Miami, his home city, slightly less wild and a bit more concerned than his usual crowd. However, they don't know a thing about his job, and still aren't exactly the kind of people you have heart-to-hearts with. Not to mention, Leo's ward was an asshole that managed to make Leo lose his almost non-existent temper.

History

Leo is a third-generation descendent of immigrants from Russia. Although his family lived in Washington, DC suburbs, he never really picked up the accent, and lost the slang after going to Deveraux. He was into all sorts of sports growing up, which is probably the main reason for his invitation to the Deveraux Academy.

At Deveraux, Leo was on Solo Team, and often the one other teammates would plead their case to when Team Leader Peter Hannibal got a bit too anal-retentive or did something asinine. As the only one approaching Peter's size (only a few inches shorter, and with broader shoulders), he wasn't afraid of their Leader's temper (the two boys became very close friends during school). Leo put in enough work in his classes to get by; he knew he would never get top marks in anything besides Martial Arts, so what was the point in trying? After graduation, he was assigned to Agent Grey status, which possesses an even quicker burn-out rate than normal field agency. As it was, Leo did burn out three years ago, and since has taken up the position of Field Handler for Region Silver, specializing in deep undercover missions.

Sydney Rahal — Subject (former)

Not long graduated from Deveraux College, Sydney Rahal is nonetheless an agent who has been through a lot despite her young age. Having lost her mother early on, Sydney saw her small Lebanese-American family destroyed for good when her father was killed and she became an orphan at the age of fourteen. She subsequently accepted an offer to attend Deveraux and it wasn't long before the college became her substitute family. After graduation, Sydney was stationed in Boston until she was assigned to infiltrate the organisation known as The Delegates of Themis. Themis was ultimately taken down, but not before Sydney found herself seriously questioning her own values and wondering whose side she was really on. Having spent some time in hiding in Beirut, Lebanon, she subsequently returned to her role as a Silver agent and is now stationed in Miami.
