Marcus Marshall

A victim of circumstance, Marcus was pulled back to Deveraux after appearing on international television. He made the decision to carry out his job and sacrificed his career in Region Mahogany in the process. Frequently seen moping around Deveraux, he is waiting for the all clear for him to be able to return back to his job as an agent but in a different region.

Marcus has a mop of chocolate brown hair that is always curly no matter how short or long it is. In the past it used to stick straight up and out giving him the appearance of never brushing is hair, but he's since tamed it. He is 5'11" tall and is of average build. His hair adds to his height when he has it at full volume.

Marcus seems like he is just one of the lads. Said to be born to rebel, he is actually quite a brain box. Sometimes he lets his mouth run away with him and reveals more than he should, often leading him into trouble, trouble that he then has to try and talk himself out of, something which he more often than not fails. He likes to joke around and sometimes will not be taken seriously because of it, with people thinking he is still joking even though he is actually trying to make a valid point.

Marcus was born in Oxford, England to a University Lecturer and his wife. He had a pretty normal upbringing but always wanted to move to America - or at least to do some study there. His father wanted him to follow in his footsteps by at least going to Oxford University, but Marcus wanted to go somewhere else, a place where he wouldn't be know as Professor Marshall's son. He had always had a high IQ, finding thinking things through and applying logic second nature and easily remembering things he had been told.

When he was offered a place at Deveraux he didn't hesitate to accept, much to his father's displeasure; even though Deveraux was seen as the most exclusive school in the world his father still wished that Marcus would stay and study in England rather than go to America to do his studies.

Marcus graduated in 2110 and was stationed in Region Mahogany. After just over five years in the field Marcus's identity was spectacularly revealed on global hollovision as he bundled the Bolivian president out of the way of a rogue cameraman with a concealed Locomotor Red rifle.

He was offered a job at Deveraux as a Teaching Assistant. Marcus had never exactly seen himself sat at a desk covering a class when the teacher was absent (he'd later discover that there was much more to it than that when employed by Deveraux), but it was preferential when compared to the other option of a mind-wipe.
