Marie Saskia van Rijn

A young Dutch Deveraux agent, Aart van Rijn is based out of Amsterdam’s Zeeburgereiland, the up-and-coming artists’ quarter. An urban, metropolitan individual, Aart is at home in the cosmopolitan city. He’s an aspiring artist and a fan of the café culture.

Recently having graduated school, Gijs is currently studying music at university. He is currently undecided if he would like a sensible career in classical music, or a scene career in the emerging genres. Unlike his elder brother Aart, Gijs maintains regular contact with his father and has a much less acrimonious relationship, though he stands in unity with his brother in blaming his father for the strife his separation caused the whole family.

A career man, Adriaan de Groot left his wife and two young boys to pursue promotion in the Rotterdam division of Anglo-Europan Pharmaceuticals. Formally divorcing his wife a year later, and ceding much of his assets in the process, Adriaan has not paused to look back since. He is, however, still eagerly looking beyond his present post of Head of Cancer Research to head the corporation's research effort worldwide.
