Morana Drake

A tall and lean African-American, with skin the color of milk chocolate, Anna loves to wear clothes that show her body off and is always decked out in the latest trends and fashions. She wears colored non-prescription contacts, so her eye color changes from day to day with her outfit. Anna uses dye to give her black hair a red tint. She usually also has at least one gun and knife hidden on her at all times, which she wears like they were just another piece of her multitude of jewellery.

Anna is driven to succeed, not for success, but for the nice things that come with it. She had to go without so much in her youth in Chicago slums, and she more than makes up for it now that she can. She changes to fit whatever personality she needs to get what she wants, and with Mickey currently providing her with what she wants, she has become his perfect girl. Morana's current personality is stubborn, with Mickey the only one capable of changing her mind. She has quite a knack for torture and, unlike the Gargoyle's last good torturer, she actually enjoys the work.

Anna was born to a prostitute in the bad part of Chicago, the result of a contraceptive malfunction. Her mother did try to do right by her daughter, so, until she was sixteen, Anna had roughly steady meals and a roof over her head. This didn't keep her off the streets, of course, and Anna soaked up the culture of the gangs and poor. At sixteen, her mother figured she was old enough to support herself, and left Morana. Morana had been warned of this a year ahead of time, as it was common in the area, and had made arrangements. She joined the Gargoyles at fifteen, doing light work dealing drugs in her high school at first. At sixteen, however, Anna started getting serious in the gang, and in turn the gang provided her with a house, and allowed her to finish school. At the completion of High School, Anna put all her time into the Gargoyles, and in turn began quickly racking up promotions, in any way necessary. Both sex and violence have been tools to get her what she wants. Morana has worked her way up to the Gargoyles elite, and has begun dating Mickey, the head of the Gargoyles.
