Myra Katia Cardona

A Mexican by birth, Myra Cardona is a Region Red graduate, operating out of Brussels, in Europa. Graduating six years ago, much of the last four years of Myra's career has been spent working on missions relating to Europa and its present afflictions. Although for much of her childhood she was absorbed in her own Mexican culture, since having moved to Europa Myra constantly finds herself fascinated and engrossed by the many cultures she finds nestling side-by-side in Europe.

With a buxom figure rarely seen of a female Deveraux agent, and standing at a thoroughly unimposing 5'3", Myra Cardona stands apart from her fellow agents visually almost as much as she does culturally. In something of a hereditary tradition, Myra's eyes are the exact same shade as her dark brown hair. Naturally frizzy, her hair falls to just below her shoulders, although she frequently experiments with it, styling it in a plethora of different ways. Its most recent styling sees its large wayward curls cascading across her upper back and shoulders, framing her small Hispanic features.

It would be fair to say that whilst she isn't one of those girls that every man has his eye on before she has even entered the room, Myra attracts the odd gaze as she walks though Saint-Gilles on her way to and from work each day.

Where once there stood a language barrier as divisional as the Berlin Wall, Myra has taken great efforts to break down such barriers to communication. Just as the German citizens hacked the wall away lump by lump, Myra steadily developed her language skills until she felt able to express and understand everything she would need to in English. Working from there, and greatly aided by her time in Europa, Myra added French and German to her linguistic repository, joining her native Spanish. For Myra, a warm and bubbly personality, there is nothing more vital in life than communicating with others. Through she would be loathed to call them hobbies, Myra greatly enjoys socialising and making new acquaintances with people from all walks of life, in particular Europeans.

Perhaps one of the few American traits Myra possess, she is a fairly materialistic person, frequently purchasing new items while will, only a week or two later, simply become more clutter in her house. Another common Mexican accusation of Americans, however, that of lack of religion, does not bear true of Myra. Although she subscribes to no single Christian religion, she is a deeply religious and spiritual person, although she does not impose her religious views on others, accepting and acknowledging that they may have their own, differing beliefs.

Myra grew up in Edomex, Mexico until the age of eight, whereupon her family emigrated to Texas, USA for the economic benefits her father perceived to go with US citizenship. For this reason Myra is a Mexican-American, although she would always claim so only in as much as having emigrated to America; she and her family are still very much routed in their Mexican culture and community. This would only change when, accepting one of the Deveraux College's scholarships for the disadvantaged, Myra moved to Massachusetts and was forced to make friends outside of her traditional Hispanic spheres.

From the age of seven Myra Cardona had had her future mapped out - and suffice to say, it didn't include espionage. She was to be a nurse, and before that a vet. But a further seven years on she was to chose, for vastly similar reasons, to join the Deveraux Organisation when the offer of a place at their very prestigious College came her way. Although she found further cultural differences divided the members of her team, Myra's bubbly personality acted to draw the six young agents together and it wasn't long before she was elected the leader of Solo Team 2110. She would find the next two years turbulent but successful.
