Naraya Ashok

Infiltration Techniques Instructor. Present at Deveraux when the Gargoyles invaded, little over an hour after they had defeated the Gargoyles Naraya headed home via train. Having disembarked the train, she was just about to walk the final mile home when she was shot down by Caleb McKinnon in a revenge killing. Her position was filled by Felix Harrison.

Very tall, at 6'2" in height. Considered a giant amongst women anyhow, this only helped along that reputation. She is very proud of her Indian heritage and dresses in the traditional Indian attire when possible. She has long, straight jet black hair which she ties back most of the time. She has brown eyes and a full face, which make her appear very jovial (which she is). She walks around with sandals on.

A very happy and jovial person, she has an appreciative sense of humour, and although she's not a funny person, she laughs at most things. She's very positive but is also keen to knuckle down and get work done. Her motto for life is "Quitters never prosper," which helped her a lot when she was training on the SkyBikes, as she had never been on one before and so was far behind in class. In fact, she spent any free time practising, and in the end of her second year exams she got the fourth highest mark in the year, right behind an international SkyBiking champion, a girl whose father manufactured them and a boy who had had one since he was four. This success was enough to convince Naraya that if you tried hard enough, you could get results no matter how disadvantaged you are, which is why she helps with aid work in poor countries when not on missions.

Naraya grew up in Assam, India, where her family had grown up for centuries. She was born on the 6th of May at precisely 12 AM. When the Chinese invaded India, Naraya's family were lucky and escaped to Bangladesh, where they were persecuted for being Indian. They fled once more and eventually arrived in Iraq, where they settled. Naraya had to learn Arabic and had to help work the land because her parents found themselves poor once more. It was the way she set about fitting in that got her noticed, in that, even though she had no understanding of what was going on, she still managed to be popular, amicable and work well with others.
