Paulo Moreira

Paulo, despite his nickname, is built very slimly with a relatively tall height of 6'1" to match. A thin body, but one that still has great strength behind it. He has long black hair, often tied back in a ponytail. His right cheek was scarred during a mission back in his trainee days, a reminder of (from his point of view) a failure to stick to his training.

Paulo is very much a solitary character. His trust is not quickly earned and he is very distrusting of most unless he knows them well. His team at Deveraux found it hard to work with him at first as he did not want to work as part of a group. However, once he warmed up to them they found him to be a very effective spy and a loyal friend. His nickname 'Bear Man' comes not only from his low and feral tone of voice but also his violent temper. Paulo is not naturally angry and has a high tolerance level for annoyance, but when he does lose his temper he gets incredibly angry and often violent. He doesn't suffer fools and is irritated by people who are, especially his fellow agents. Whilst he enjoys being a graduate and likes to work alone, he still enjoys contact with his friends.

Having grown up in the streets of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with his two elder brothers Ricardo and Roberto, he was taught to survive by any means necessary. He was an adept thief and was caught only once, by the Deveraux Selector Agent that found him. The agent saw Paulo's potential in infiltration and took him from his brothers with no resistance whatsoever. His parents were no longer in Rio to object and his brothers wanted what was best for him.
