Robert Denman

Rob is 5'6", with brownish hair, murky brown eyes, and a look in them which makes him appear always happy. He has a slightly lopsided smile, short arms and long legs, giving him a rather disproportionate appearance. However, he is regarded as having one of the more analytical and quick brains. He has a photographic memory and an IQ that is just shy of 200 (197). He was seen as a good potential recruit for the Deveraux Organization.

Rob is a smart guy with a sharp wit which he has known to take a little too far. However, he's not a bad person by any means, and is well-liked by most people he meets. Rob has been known to be highly intuitive as a teacher, and has the ability to motivate people and get the best out of them. He is disappointed if anybody gets low marks in his class. The idea of somebody failing is a concept he is unwilling to think about, which is a good thing as it has yet to happen.

Rob was sent to the Deveraux College at fourteen, and was seen to be highly adept at all theoretical aspects of the work. He intuitively grasped things. In International Insight, for example, he had an almost telepathical knowledge of the Threat Analysis covered there. Things like Infiltration Techniques and Tactical Planning were no problem, and, while he didn't get Team Leader, he was often asked by the Leader what should be done in a given situation. However, the practical elements of his work weren't up to scratch of his team-mates (imagine the gap between Paranoia Plot Bex and Cally). He still managed to pass his exams, as his theory and "red-line" grades were all over 90%, making up for some mediocre to poor practical exams.

After around five years in Region Red, he contacted the Deveraux organization personally. He had just failed a mission, missing a shot that he was sure someone else could have made. While he didn't want a mind-wipe, he felt he would be of better use working elsewhere for the organization, saving lives from behind the scenes. Fortunately, Deveraux agreed and decided to have a look for something that could be done. After a few weeks waiting, a position for Tactical Planning conveniently became open, which was absolutely perfect for Rob. He was outright offered the job and took it without a moment's hesitation. Since the age of twenty-two, that's where he has been.
