Ronald Reuel Bicket

Sir Ronald R. Bicket is the despised, feared and manipulative Chair of the Board of the Deveraux Organisation. It is often said that while leaders emanate power, he emanates pure fear. It is thus rare that the members of the Board oppose any action put forward by Sir Bicket, regardless of their personal opinion on the matter. Whether this makes him an effective or ineffective Chair is simply a matter of allegiance - although for most that would unquestionably be the latter.

Of only average build and lacking any particularly menacing features, many are surprised by the power that Ronald Bicket emanates within Deveraux. His hair long ago turned white, his eyes are black and beady and his skin has the appearance of a very old, dried-out waxwork. Ronald has a tendency to wear very formal clothes on a day-to-day basis, opting for suits and ties as a standard for going to work. Despite the three years between them, Ronald Bicket looks very much like his younger brother, Norman - though that's not all they share in common by a long shot.

Many have commented that Ronald simply has no personality, others more wisely suggest that it's just rather lacklustre. Ronald takes his position within Deveraux seriously - too seriously, in fact. He has a very imposing personality and is constantly demanding of everyone around him. Very aware of his own power and presence, Ronald will not hesitate to use his own influence in order to get what he wants with very little regard to whatever and whoever stands in the way. Ronald isn't the type to threaten, but then again he doesn't have to - a mere glance from him can be more than enough to silence most people.

Born in Calgary, Canada, Ronald is the oldest of two sons. His brother, Norman Bicket, is Deveraux's current English teacher - a job Ronald himself secured for Norman. Ronald has sat on the board of Deveraux for the last thirty odd years and takes the accolade of the most disliked member. The only problem with this is that the whole board is also afraid of him, particularly due to his sizeable wealth, abrasive manner and, most importantly, his questionable aura of someone who might just kill you and all of your family should you disagree with him.
