Rosa Louise Beaumont

An Austrian living on the Italian island of Venice, Stefan Müller is an experienced Deveraux Handler and former Field Agent. He has had a long and prosperous marriage to Addolorata, an Italian matriarch who owns and operates Camera dell'ospite del D'AmatoD'Amato's Guest House out of which Stefan operates. Stefan and Addolorata have three children of their own, and a long-term foster child.

A student at the renowned Architecture Institute of Venice, Luca Romano is approaching the end of his studies and the start of his career - if he can knuckle down and focus on his work. But as many have lamented, Luca has the ability to excel, he just refuses to apply himself. The lure of something else, anything else, is always greater than the appeal of studying. This is never truer that when that something else is partying, going out or getting drunk. He's recently been able to remove his girlfriend Rosa from this list of attractions as their relationship goes from steady to rocky and potentially perilous. As his finals loom and his need of an internship rises, Luca is finally discovering his final grade is more than an arbitrary score. He's worried, though he continues to claim otherwise, that that score may fail to secure him anything like the internship he had always imagined he would accomplish.

Of predominately Italian heritage, Adrianna met her French husband when she was holidaying with her friends. They soon moved to Adrianna's home town, Verona, and began a family, having their daughter Rosa five years after they met. She raised her daughter so that she was clear of both her Italian and French heritage. Now having taken retirement she is enjoying life to the full.

Francis was always eager to give the best for his family and was hard working during Rosa's childhood. Born in France he was keen that Rosa learn both Italian and French. He is now enjoying his retirement with his wife, holidaying by the coast for the majority of the summer.

A New Zealander living in Paris, the cultured, 27-year-old is seen by Rosa as her invitation to all the parties you would want to be seen at. And none of the ones you wouldn't.

A recalcitrant character, Rez is a rebel and tagger in his mid twenties from Brussels. For all his weaknesses, Rez can be an endearing person and one whom it can be hard to wrestle yourself free from; he knows a good time and enjoys sharing it with others. He is anything but the type of character a good girl would want to be associated with, as he discovered when Rosa Beaumont dumped him. Of all of her boyfriends, Rez was perhaps the most surprising, with absolutely nothing in common with the girl she identified with. Rez scrapes through life as a sales assistant at the crappy indie music store Le Mosh Pit, although he recently began to DJ at the underground punk nightclub L'académie de FUCK.

Damião, a 20-year-old Greek-Portuguese, is the most naïve of Rosa's boyfriends. He is serious and doting... but Rosa just finds him convenient. Whilst he has a boring job he yearns to be a photographer and photographing people like Rosa in more than just a hobby capacity.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Benjamin is Rosa's boss. A 30-year-old business man who is engaged and soon to marry, Ben is the only of Rosa's boyfriends to know that he's not the only one dating her. For Rosa this is an office affair, and for Ben it is just some fun on the side.
