Rosie Blackman

Rosie has well groomed shoulder-length black hair which she takes great pride in caring for. She's rarely without basic make-up on her face, particularly her mascara. She has green eyes and high cheek bones, making her look like a classic model of the 1990s-2010s. She's 5'7", which she maintains is an ideal height for a female, and has broad hips. She's very into girly, vain body-care products, and loves to wear skirts and t-shirts that are just a little bit too small. She's got a pierced belly button, though she can take out the stud and she regrets getting it done. She has pierced ears too.

Rosie is extremely vain, self-centred, self-obsessed, arrogant and quite a hateful girl. She's very sarcastic and cutting, which hasn't helped her make friends. She's one of the few people that does not care what people think of them, and some people refer to her as the "Ice Queen" because of this. Rosie does however love her family, preferring to spend time with them over school friends (perhaps having something to do with her distinct lack of). She was branded 'popular' at school, even though she was deeply hated, though to put it better she has a lot of 'street cred.' A lot of the people at her school in Ottawa spoke about her condescendingly, with insults like 'easy', 'whore' and 'slut' being used to describe her. She is very open about sex, and used to love embarrassing her Drama teacher in Ottawa by asking her to demonstrate how a sex scene should be acted out in theatre.

Rosie was born in Alberta, Canada, and lived on a farm with her mother and father. When she was three, her father died in a snow storm. Rosie's mother fought hard to keep the farm, but when she was down on her last penny, she ended up selling it. Rosie and her mother moved to the capital city, and her mother soon began to date again, eventually marrying Steve Blackman. Her mother gave birth to Harry Blackman, and two more siblings followed, Kyle and Lucy, all of whom Rosie adores. Finding herself with little to do at the weekends when she started high school, Rosie and Steve took up rock climbing. Whilst Steve soon gave up, Rosie took it up seriously. She was soon climbing the Rocky Mountains with her climbing group, and it was during this trip she lost her virginity to one of the instructors. Unlike many girls of her age who would be upset or at least be hormonal over this, Rosie enjoyed the excitement of nearly being caught (as very almost happened) and soon earned a reputation. Making friends with girls who were looked down upon also, Rosie looked set to head towards a life of partying, drinking and drugs, but thankfully she was 'rescued' by Deveraux.
