Samantha Adams

Gifted or perhaps cursed with a name that has given rise to several jokes about any possible connection to Samuel Adams, Samantha has pretty much given up pointing out that she's from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and, at least as far as she knows, bears no relation to one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Then again, despite having joined the Young Democrats of America at an early age, Samantha's always had a slight problem with being taken seriously, particularly with regard to her political ideals. A staunch idealist and most definitely a liberal, Samantha was happy to defy expectations when she graduated from Dartmouth College with a major in Government, going on to work at EMILY's List and other political action committees before she was asked to join the Archer presidential campaign as a speechwriter. Once John William Archer was elected, Samantha attained the position of Deputy White House Communications Director and has worked with Laurie Davies on the President's inaugural as well as his State of the Union addresses.
