Yekaterina Nikolayeva Rusakova

Moscow-born Yekaterina is a Region White graduate operating out of the capital of the Republic of Belarus. Like most Russians, Katya is a very social character and enjoys nothing more than being surrounded by her family and friends. She is always keen to meet new people and forge friendships, a trait aided by her ability to see the best in people.

Although she could only ever be described at a stretch as manipulative, Yekaterina is not opposed to using her friendship to influence her friends when it suits her - something she's not altogether comfortable with but manages to overlook when it plays to her advantage.

Yekaterina was born to an ordinary couple of Muscovites, her father a factory worker and her mother a cleaner. She grew up in the city, remaining a resident until approached by Deveraux at the age of 14 where she promptly left for the United States. Upon graduating she found herself stationed in her native region, however 400 miles away in the Belarusian capital of Minsk.

For the duration of her time at Deveraux Katya was fitted with a Babel Chip to aid her communication skills. Shortly after graduating legal measures made it necessary for the chip to be removed, leaving her fluent only in Russian with only rudimentary skills in other languages gained at Deveraux. Although she had planned to study English after graduating her situation made it necessary that she first study Belarusian and so English found itself pushed back. After mastering Belarusian two years later English took a back-seat once more as she felt the compulsion to learn Kazakh so that she and her long-term partner Serik weren't left to converse in her native language at all times. With Serik now only rarely correcting her Kazakh - though often deriding her pronunciation - Yekaterina is once more turning her sights to mastering the English language.
